If you’ve yet to hear Siriusmo’s first album Mosaik do yourself a favor and check it out (seriously, here’s a link to buy it), it is one of the most creatively put together debuts we’ve heard yet. That being said, on June 14th the German producer will return with his new album Enthusiast, the first track of which Modeselektor just revealed earlier today. Itchy is a fairly classic, and welcome display of Siriusmo’s unbridled, complexly controlled style. The erratic melody, punching bassline, and powerful closing synths are an ingeniously packaged combination. This is just a taste of what we have in store when the full album release hits.
